I started my career in recruitment, where I developed a real passion for working with people and building strong relationships. Over time, I found myself becoming increasingly interested in children’s residential care and the difference that the right people and the right environment can make to young people.

That journey led me to Blue Heart Residential, where I’m now the Mobilisation Manager. My role involves supporting the development and opening of new children’s residential homes, from recruitment and staffing through to compliance, operational readiness and ensuring each home is ready to provide a safe, nurturing environment for every young person who steps through our doors.

I’m passionate about building strong teams, creating safe environments and making sure that every new service starts with the right foundations in place. For me, it is about much more than opening a home – it’s about creating a service where young people can thrive.
